Local 4-H groups will celebrate the start of a new year on Sunday, October 6th with their annual Clay County 4-H Sunday Service at the Clay County Event Center at 4:00 p.m. This Service will kick off National 4-H week with new and returning 4-H members and their families gathering for a time of fellowship.
Melissa Baxter, 4-H Program Manager, said 4-Hers will sing hymnals, give devotions, and much more.
Baxter said along with 4-H members and their families, Cloverbud families are welcome to join as well.
During the weekend of October 12th and 13th local 4-H groups will be performing Community Service in the area. Joining 4-Hers around the state for a weekend of service known as 48 Hours of 4-H. Be on the lookout for your local 4-H groups as they gather for the new year of making a difference in the community.
