Clay County Medical Center Takes the Lead in Breast Cancer Awareness This October

CCMC Release

This October, Clay County Medical Center is proud to announce that our
dedicated radiology team is leading a heartfelt initiative to promote Breast Cancer Awareness.
Throughout the month, all patients who receive a mammogram will be gifted a beautiful pink rose as
a symbol of support and solidarity in the fight against breast cancer.

In addition to this thoughtful gesture, CCMC team members have committed to wearing pink facility-wide on October 23rd. This vibrant display of unity aims to raise awareness and spark conversations
about the importance of early detection and regular screenings.

“Breast cancer affects countless lives, and we believe it’s essential to foster a supportive environment
for our patients,” said Justin Begnoche, Director of Radiology. “By giving roses and wearing pink,
we hope to not only honor those affected by this disease but also encourage our community to
prioritize their health.”

Clay County Medical Center invites everyone to join in this important cause. Whether through
wearing pink, sharing information, or simply encouraging friends and family to schedule their
mammograms, each effort contributes to a larger mission of awareness and education.
For more information about our Breast Cancer Awareness initiatives or to schedule a mammogram,

Together, let’s make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
