Tiger Cross Country Teams Strong Showing At Junction City

On a hot and breezy Saturday the Tiger Cross Country teams performed well at the Junction City Invitational. The Lady Tigers were led by Kylie Pfizenmaier who took 3rd overall with a time of 19:14. Janae Wolf 13th; Raelynn Cranmer 26th; Claira Wolf 38th; Izzy Matheney 39th; Natalie Sleichter 48th. They would take 4th as a team; Junction City was 1st; followed by Salina South, Valley Center and then the Lady Tigers. The Tiger Boys finished in 3rd as a team behind 1st Place Junction City and Valley Center. Justice Holte ran the top spot for the Tigers taking 14th at 17:42; Fernando Avalos 20th; Cale Tromp 26th; Will Cranmer 28th; Angel Avalos 29th; JT Alton 31st and Brett Hoffman 38th. Next up for Tiger Cross Country is the Riley County Invitational this Saturday in Leonardville.
