Tiger Speech and Drama’s “Terror Under the Big Top” at the Haunted Rex to Open Halloween Night

Clay Center Community High School’s Tiger Speech and Drama class is gearing up for its annual “Haunted Rex” haunted house fundraiser.  This year’s theme is “Terror Under the Big Top,” bringing brave attendees a bit of circus fright as they tour the Rex.  The Haunted House will be open from October 31st to November 2nd, with hauntings occurring from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. each evening.

Megan Blackburn, Speech and Drama teacher, said this has become one of their biggest yearly fundraisers since it started years back.

Blackburn said attendees will start at the back of the auditorium weaving their way through the Rex, including the creepy, unfinished basement, before exiting through the front. Students Greyson Brandt, Inaya Liddle, and Sophia Carrier gave a sneak peek of how they are preparing for the haunted house.

This annual fundraiser helps support the Tiger Speech and Drama department with performances they put on for the community.  Tickets will be available at the door. Keep up to date on upcoming events and activities like this on their Facebook page.
