The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) will hold its next National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 26^th. Drug Take Back Day reflects the DEA’s commitment to removing unneeded medications from homes in hopes of making communities safer and healthier.

Local Agencies hosting Drug Take Back Days are:

• Clay Counts Coalition and the Clay County Health Department: Wednesday, October 23^rd from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Health Department.
• Marshall County Health Department: Saturday, October 26^th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Health Department.

Area Agencies that collect unneeded medications year-round:

• Patterson Health Mart Pharmacy: Clay Center and Abilene
• Washington Health and Drug: Washington
• Yungeberg Drug: Blue Rapids
• Oshkins Pharmacy: Belleville
• Republic County Hospital: Belleville
• JC Pharmacy and Konza Prairie Health Center: Junction City
