Brown Grand Opera House
Dan Miller knows a bit about cowboy culture.
Since the late 1980’s, Miller has hosted television shows like Mesquite Rodeo and PBR Bull Riding for The Nashville Network, and Extreme Bulls for ESPN. Although he grew up working on a dairy farm in Indiana, it didn’t take long for the Wild West to call him, and he’s spent the last 30 years living west of the Mississippi – much of that on horseback.
In 2005, Miller merged his two passions – cowboy culture and musical entertainment – and launched “Dan Miller’s Cowboy Music Revue” in Cody, Wyoming. And now he is bringing his show to Concordia, with a performance at the Brown Grand on Sunday, November 10th at 3:00PM (310 W. 6th Street, Concordia, KS).
“Dan Miller’s AmeriCoustic” is a first-class western music and wholesome family musical review, blending music, humor, history and poetry. With Dan on lead vocals, guitar and harmonica, and Wendy Corr singing lead and harmony vocals and playing the bass guitar and fiddle, the duo presents a variety of song stylings – not just traditional western fare!
From “Back In the Saddle” and “Rawhide” to iconic tunes from Arlo Guthrie, Patsy Cline and Marty Robbins, Miller and Corr bring a unique brand of “AmeriCoustic” music to the stage.
