Jeanie Waters, new Director of Operations for the Clay Center Pizza Hut location spoke to Lions Club members and guests during their weekly meeting at the Clay County Museum on November 5th.
Waters is from the Pizza Management Company, which has been in existence since 1965. The Company currently operates 28 Pizza Huts across Kansas, Iowa, and Missouri.
Waters updated the Lions Club on the work being done at the Clay Center location. They have added a drive-through on the west side of the building, they will be replacing the front counter, adding new carpet, and bringing back a salad bar and buffet, and more.
The opening date is still to be announced as they have run into many hiccups and are having some trouble finding construction companies to perform the work. Waters said when it is opened there will be a lot of new things in the restaurant. Waters said they will get opened up, they’re just not sure when.
As of now, Waters said they do not plan on providing a delivery option due to staffing. Waters is excited to get the location opened up, as it can be a real asset to Clay Center, bringing a great dining experience back to the community
