Warren H. Blaske, 79, Linn, died Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Ascension Via Christi in Manhattan, KS.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, at Ward Funeral Home in Linn from 4 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
A graveside funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 7 at Fancy Creek Cemetery, Randolph, KS. Rev. Keith Kohlmeier will officiate.
Pallbearers are James Ellsinger, Kenny Waterman, Craig Dankenbring, Richard Bitz, Steve Tichenor, Don Lehman and Larry Shum.

Warren was born on August 14, 1945 to Harold and Leona (Norman) Blaske in Marysville, KS. He was baptized on September 9, 1945 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Marysville, KS. He attended Elementary school in Randolph and Linn, graduating from Linn High School in 1963.
He joined the Marines after high school and served in California at Camp Pendleton. After his honorable discharge from the Marines, he went to work with the Boilermakers as a welder, traveling throughout the United States. He recently was recognized for 56 years in the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. Warren celebrated over 30 years of sobriety and served as a sponsor and leader at numerous AA groups throughout the area.
He was a member of the Wohlmoor American Legion in Linn. He married Mickey Trail and they later divorced.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Delvin Berger.
Survivors include his sisters, Marlene (Rev. Keith) Kohlmeier, Wichita, Connie (Dan) Fee, Clay Center and Kim (Eric) Bushell, Clay Center; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund is established to Wholmoor American Legion Post #237, American Cancer Society or Alcoholics Anonymous. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home, Washington.
