Narka, Kansas CVA Facility to Expand Grain Storage Capacity, Better Serving Area Farmers

Central Valley Ag (CVA) is expanding its grain storage capacity at the Narka facility by 2 million bushels to better serve the needs of its producers in Republic County and surrounding areas. This significant upgrade will replace the current bunker site, enabling efficient filling of the 600,000-bushel circle pile from a new pit, while also offering integration opportunities with existing bins.

The facility will feature a 2-million-bushel hoop building, a 20,000 bushels-per-hour (BPH) leg and receiving pit, and a 10,000 BPH center belt reclaim. Additionally, CVA is enhancing operational efficiency with an overhead bin, in-floor aeration, and two 12,000 BPH day paddle sweeps for streamlined cleanouts. The fully automated system will increase loading speed, saving valuable time for producers.

Construction is scheduled to start this winter and is expected to complete by spring 2025.
