K-18 to Close at Talmage for Railroad Crossing Replacement

KDOT Release

From 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd2, a portion of K-18 in Dickinson County is expected to close for the replacement of the railroad crossing just northwest of Talmage.

During the removal and replacement of the existing railroad crossing, K-18 will be closed to all traffic. Through traffic on K-18 will be directed to follow the signed detour on U.S. 81, I-70 and K-15. KDOT uses state highways for official detour routes for safety, weight, and maintenance concerns.

KDOT urges motorists to stay alert and follow posted signs in all work zones. For current road conditions, visit www.kandrive.gov or call 5-1-1. For updates on highway projects in north central Kansas, visit https://www.ksdot.gov/bureaus/offTransInfo/NCNRelese.asp.
