Pharmacy Owners Dustin and Keri Rogge Speak to Lions Club Members during their Weekly Meeting

Dustin and Keri Rogge, new owners of Ferguson Rexall Drugs in Clay Center were guest speakers during the Clay Center Lions Club’s weekly meeting on November 19th.

The Rogges, who hail from Palmer, purchased the Pharmacy from former owner Jeff Mayo earlier this year. Rexall is the fourth rural pharmacy the Rogges own.  They also own Pharmacies in Washington, Blue Rapids, and Sabetha.

Dustin Rogge said the biggest thing they do is try to take care of their customers the way they want to be taken care of. One thing they do differently is they try to deprescribe when possible. Focusing more on natural health, such as diet, exercise, vitamins and supplements, and sleep.

As rural pharmacists the Rogges are part of a Cooperative with other pharmacies across Kansas. Pharmacists in the Co-op work together, working with insurance companies and legislators to help rural pharmacies continue to provide for their communities.

Dustin said they have added a new pharmacist at Rexall who will manage the pharmacy when Mayo steps down completely. The Rogges will manage the four pharmacies they own overall.

The Rogges said they are keeping the Rexall name, and customers shouldn’t see much change from previous years.
