American Legion Post 101
The Clay Center American Legion Post 101 invites the community to join their monthly meetings at 7:00 p.m. every second Tuesday of the month in support of the local American Legion. Members meet at the Kansas National Guard Armory at 7:00 p.m.
Legion members are currently looking for volunteers to help out the Post during events. They are currently creating a list of community members who are willing to help out during the various events.
Upcoming Events include:
- December 7th is the annual Pearl Harbor Day Remembrance Ceremony at the Courthouse Square at 6:00 p.m.
- December 14th is Wreaths Across America Day. Members will be laying wreaths on veterans gravesites at the Greenwood Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
- On February 19th the Auxiliary will host their Kansas Honor Flight fundraiser from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church Life Center.
