The 75th Annual Arkansas River Compact Administration (ARCA) meeting will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. CST at the Clarion Inn, 1911 E Kansas Ave., Garden City, Kansas. The meeting agenda will be available on the ARCA website.

ARCA oversees the Kansas-Colorado Arkansas River Compact, including the operation of the John Martin Reservoir. The meeting will cover topics such as John Martin Reservoir operations, a multi-purpose account pilot project, compliance updates, committee reports, and updates from state and federal agencies.

Kansas’ representatives on ARCA include Earl Lewis, chief engineer of the Kansas Department of Agriculture’s Division of Water Resources; Troy Dumler of Garden City; and Zachary Gale of Syracuse.

ARCA’s Operations, Engineering, and Administrative and Legal committees will meet the day before, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. CST, also at the Clarion Inn.

All meetings are open to the public.
