OneMarysville
OneMarysville invites the public to two Mixers this week, offering opportunities to connect with the community, celebrate local leaders and spread holiday cheer.
First Mixer
When: Wednesday, December 18, 5–6:30 p.m.
Where: Evangelical United Church of Christ, 205 South 10th Street
This event offers a chance to meet the church’s new minister, Peter Rockhold, and enjoy a spread of soups, sandwiches and sweets. Members of the Koester House Museum Foundation will sell chances to win one of two beautiful nativity sets, while representatives from the Marshall County Historical Society will have copies of Oretha Ruetti’s popular book, It Happened Here, available for purchase – just in time for holiday gift-giving.
Attendees can also look forward to some fun surprises, including opportunities to win Chamber Bucks.
Second Mixer
When: Friday, December 20, starting at 5 p.m. Where: Wagon Wheel, 703 Broadway
Join us at the Wagon Wheel to say thank you to Laurie Parks and Lori Snellings for their contributions to the community. This Mixer will also be a perfect opportunity to meet the new owners of the Wagon Wheel. Appetizers will be served.
Both events are open to everyone – no membership required.
“Whether you’re a resident, visitor or just curious about what’s happening in Marysville, you’re welcome to join us,” said Liz Warren, president of OneMarysville. “These Mixers are a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, engage with the community and discover what makes Marysville special.”
