Clay County Medical Center Welcomes Kristen Manning, Emergency Room NursePractitioner

CCMC

Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) is excited to announce the addition of
Kristen Manning, FNP-C, to our healthcare team. Kristen brings her extensive experience, dedication,
and compassion to the Emergency Room (ER), where she will play a vital role in providing care to
patients.

Kristen, originally from Sabetha, KS, has always been passionate about healthcare. Inspired by her
mother, a nurse, Kristen knew from a young age that she wanted to follow in her footsteps. Her desire
to make an even greater impact grew during her time in the ICU, where her experiences—and
meeting her husband, Michael—motivated her to become a nurse practitioner.

Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Dakota, where she was
vice president of her Pi Beta Phi sorority. She is a proud alumna, cheering on the Coyotes (“Go
Yotes!”) and brings the same spirit and drive to her work in healthcare.

Kristen is passionate about patient care, stating, “Seeing patients improve and recover from their
illness, and knowing I had a part in their recovery, is what motivates me every day.” She is eager to
bring this commitment to CCMC, where she believes working in the ER will allow her to maintain a
great work-life balance while continuing to make a difference in the lives of others.

Kristen and her husband, Michael, have been married for four years and are the proud parents of a
14-month-old daughter, Claire. The family also includes their beloved dog, Bailey, a lively German
Shepherd-Husky mix. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys playing with Claire, gardening, and relaxing
with her favorite reality TV shows.
