Kansas State Athletics will host the 7th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day event on February 15. A pregame clinic for children in grades 1–8 will run from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Ice Basketball Training Facility, featuring K-State women’s athletic teams. Participants will receive a fitness towel and free admission to the women’s basketball game against UCF at 4 p.m. Tickets for the game are $14.
Registration is required by February 7 at kstatesports.com/NGWSD. Spaces often fill before the deadline.
The event highlights the importance of sports participation in building confidence and leadership. Now in its 39th year, National Girls & Women in Sports Day is celebrated nationwide to inspire girls and women to engage in athletics and realize their potential.
