Kansas State University has opened a new collaborative office space designed to drive research commercialization, industry partnerships, and economic growth. Located in the Kansas State University Foundation’s Edge District, the facility brings together the Kansas State University Research Foundation, the Office of Corporate Engagement, and K-State 105.
On January 10, Kansas Lt. Gov. and Secretary of Commerce David Toland, along with K-State President Richard Linton and other university leaders, participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening.
The new facility, located at 1960 Kimball Ave., will house teams focused on intellectual property management, research commercialization, corporate partnerships, and economic development. It will serve as a hub for industry partners to connect with K-State researchers and access university innovations, furthering the university’s economic development efforts across Kansas.
