History was made at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday as Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid earned his 300th career win in a 23-14 victory over the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Round. Reid now joins Don Shula, George Halas, and Bill Belichick as the only coaches with 300 wins.
Reid’s 300 wins include 273 regular-season victories and 27 playoff wins, marking a successful career with both the Philadelphia Eagles and the Chiefs. While the achievement is a major milestone, Reid focused on his team’s performance in the win.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes also praised Reid, acknowledging his impact on the team and their success together.
Reid has been with the Chiefs since 2013, turning the team into a consistent contender. He has led the team to two Super Bowl appearances, including a win in 2019, and has appeared in every AFC Championship Game since 2018.
With his 300th win now behind him, Reid’s attention turns to adding another championship. As the Chiefs prepare for the next AFC Championship Game, Reid’s legacy continues to grow.
