Jerome Jarvis Flohr, age 89 of Randolph, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Clay County Medical Center.
He was born on December 29, 1935, the son of Luther Robert and Nellie Amelia (Simnitt) Flohr. He graduated from Randolph High School. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Army.
Jerome was a farmer and a lifetime member of the Walsburg Lutheran Church and was also the sexton of the Walsburg Cemetery. He enjoyed attending high school and college basketball games. He was a Kansas State Women’s Basketball season ticket holder for many years.
He is survived by one sister-in-law, Beth Flohr of Round Rock, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Kenneth Flohr, Elston Flohr, Miles Flohr, Vincent Flohr, Veryl Flohr, and Wayne Flohr; one sister, Gladys Hagenmaier, and three nephews, Michael Willis Hagenmaier, Dale Flohr, and Robert Flohr.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Walsburg Lutheran Church with Pastor Kaylie Ines officiating. Respect calls may be made from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Walsburg Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Walsburg Lutheran Church and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
