Paul M. Gladbach, 63 years of age, of Clyde passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina. He was born on November 9, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri to James and Patricia (Renicker) Gladbach.
He was a 1980 graduate of Concordia High School, Concordia, Kansas. He received his bachelor’s degree from K-State in Animal Science and master’s degree from K-State Ag Education.
Paul married Jody Ann McGinnis on July 18, 1981, at The Baptist Church, Concordia, Kansas. To this union five children were born, David, Phillip, Elaine, Thomas, and Joseph.
He was an area cattleman, farmer, ag teacher, welding instructor, ag equipment salesman, sports coach and according to some, a professional talker.
Paul worked for USD #224 Clifton-Clyde and for USD #333 Concordia.
He was a member of The Knights of Columbus Council #1142, Concordia, Kansas and The American Angus Association.
Paul’s hobbies included hunting, shed hunting, sports, Auction-Time, but his lifelong obsession was cattle.
Paul is survived by his wife, Jody Gladbach, Clyde, KS; his five children, David Gladbach (Amanda), Sequim, Washington, Phillip Gladbach (Chandra), Concordia, KS; Elaine Sloan (Jason), Hays, KS, Thomas Gladbach (Alisha), Alta Vista, KS, Joseph Gladbach (Heather), Wamego, KS; 13 Grandchildren, 10 boys and 3 girls.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Gladbach, Deerfield, MO; Paul’s sister, Mary Harkins, Kansas City, KS (Frank), and brother-in-law, John McKee, Carthage, MO
Visitation will be held from 1-8 pm, Friday, March 14, 2025. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, all at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, Kansas with Fr. Joseph Kieffer officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, St. Joseph, Kansas.
