Junction City to Begin Playground Replacement at Coronado Park

Junction City Parks and Recreation, in coordination with the Junction City South Kiwanis and I.C.A.R.E., are excited to announce the beginning of the playground replacement at Coronado Park.

The removal of the old equipment will begin Monday, March 17th. Coronado Park will be closed while Public Works does site preparation and installation of the new playground equipment. The installation of
the new equipment is scheduled to begin Monday, March 24th, and is expected to take approximately 2 weeks.

In addition to Coronado Park, four more playgrounds will have new equipment installed: North Park, South Park, Martin Luther King Jr. Park, and Bramlage Park. It is anticipated that the next playground to be installed will be North Park. For updates, please check the Junction City Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
