Reinke Manufacturing, a global leader in irrigation technology, has acquired the industrial assets of Scott Specialties, Inc. in Belleville. The acquisition includes all facilities, equipment, and real estate, following Scott Specialties’ decision to close its operations.

This strategic move enables Reinke to expand its mechanized irrigation division while offering new employment opportunities to Scott Specialties’ experienced workforce. Jim McDonald, president of Scott Specialties, emphasized the importance of ensuring a positive future for long-time employees through this transition.

Chris Roth, president of Reinke, welcomed the skilled team, highlighting their value to Reinke’s mission and the broader agricultural industry. The expansion creates a second operational center in Belleville.
