This outage is required to make necessary repairs to the power plant substation. Areas affected include some businesses in the downtown district. All affected business customers have already been notified by City staff.
Residential areas affected include:
All residential customers north of US 36 from C Street west; the north side of the 100 block of East College; the south side of E 3rd Street and the north side of E 4th Street between C Street and Pierce Street (100, 200, and 300 blocks).
The west half of the 100 block of East 5th Street on the north side.
The west half of the 100 block of East 4th Street on the south side.
Crews will begin at 7:00 a.m. and the plan is to have service restored by 10:00 a.m.
