The Kansas State Fair, a tradition since 1913, returns to Hutchinson from September 5 to 14, 2025. Held annually at the Kansas State Fairgrounds, this 10-day event is the state’s largest gathering, attracting over 300,000 attendees each year

The Nex-Tech Grandstand will feature a lineup of performances, including concerts, demolition derbies, and other live events. Among those scheduled to perform are Sam Barber with Avery Anna on September 5, comedian Jeff Dunham on September 6, and Ludacris with DJ Infamous on September 12.

In addition to ticketed events, the fair offers free entertainment. The 2025 Free Stage Schedule includes performances like marching bands and cultural acts, providing accessible entertainment for all visitors.

The fair also showcases Kansas’ agricultural heritage through various competitions and exhibits. Participants can enter contests ranging from livestock shows to baking competitions.
