The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) will hold five public meetings this fall to discuss proposed changes to state park fees and gather input from residents. These town hall-style sessions will allow attendees to learn about the proposals, ask questions, and share feedback. No fees have been changed yet, and any updates would need approval from the Kansas Wildlife and Parks Commission before taking effect.

The sessions will take place on various days from September 3-December 3. The proposed fee changes for Kansas state parks include adjustments to camping and vehicle permits.

The full schedule, as well as proposed changes can be found here.
