K-State women’s soccer erupted for three second-half goals to beat UMass Lowell 4-0 on Thursday, setting a program record for best start to a season at 4-0-0. The Wildcats also tied their record for consecutive matches without a loss.
Andra Mohler opened the scoring in the 28th minute, followed by second-half goals from Allison Marshall, Hannah Palmer, and Gabby DeMers. Palmer’s goal marked her third straight match finding the net, a school record.
K-State outshot the River Hawks 16-2 and has now recorded 360 scoreless minutes to start the season, the second-longest streak in school history. Goalkeeper Murphy Sibbing earned her fourth shutout.
The win also gave K-State its first undefeated August in program history and a school-best two consecutive road victories.
The Wildcats face Harvard on Monday at 10:30 a.m. CT.
