Shoppers, music lovers and families will find something to enjoy when the Marysville Farmers Market brings a Special Edition to downtown Marysville on Saturday, September 20. Running from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. at 7th and Broadway, the market will feature vendors, food trucks, live music and activities for kids, all timed with the Highway 36 Treasure Hunt.
The Special Edition market is designed to showcase the best of Marysville and Marshall County while drawing visitors from across the region. Vendors of produce, plants, baked goods, preserves, handmade crafts, art, jewelry, specialty foods, and unique local products are invited to participate.
Young entrepreneurs are especially encouraged to sign up and bring their ideas and creations to the market.
Visitors are invited to enjoy downtown, spend the morning outdoors and linger with friends. New outdoor seating in Pony Park—just across the street—will be available, and picnic tables will be set up so people can relax and enjoy the morning together.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, acclaimed soul artist Josh Hoyer will perform live throughout the morning. Known for his powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence, Hoyer has performed on NBC’s “The Voice” and toured internationally. On September 20, he will bring his signature sound solo to Marysville, blending classic soul and R&B.
The market will also feature activities for kids, including sidewalk art with the Marshall County Arts Cooperative and special programs with the Marysville Public Library. Food trucks and local vendors will round out the offerings.
The event is sponsored by Marshall County Sports and Recreation and OneMarysville.
Vendors can sign up by calling OneMarysville at 785-562-3101 or emailing wayne@onemarysville.com.
