MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan.– A 24-hour vigil Sept. 16-17 highlights POW/MIA week at McConnell Air Force Base.
Airman will walk or run with the flags in a 24-hour vigil to honor our POW/MIA servicemembers. The 24-hour Vigil will take place from 9 a.m., Sept. 16 to 9 a.m., Sept. 17.
Other events include the week’s opening Wreath-Laying Ceremony, which is scheduled for Sept. 15 at 8:30 a.m. at the flagpole of Bldg. 1, and the Closing Ceremony, which will be Sept. 19 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Bleckley Lounge on base.
