On Thursday, Oct. 30, the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation, School Specialty, and Eckrich will unveil a newly renovated library and media center at Lincoln Elementary in Junction City. The celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for students, staff, and district personnel, followed by a public open house from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The updated space includes modern furniture and technology provided by School Specialty, designed to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. Lincoln Elementary is one of five schools receiving an “Extra Yard Makeover” through October 2025.
The project aligns with the CFP Foundation’s mission to uplift K–12 teachers nationwide. For Eckrich, the effort holds special meaning, as Junction City plays a vital role in producing the brand’s products that reach family kitchens across the country.
