Grass & Grain will have their fifth annual Farm and Ranch Show on November 11th and 12th at the National Guard Armory in Manhattan, KS.

Tuesday’s show will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 7 p.m., while Wednesday’s show begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.

The show will feature a variety of informative workshops and exhibitors in the 45,000 square foot building. Some exhibitors are new this year, while others are returning from previous years.

Workshops will include topics such as goat grazing, drones in agriculture, virtual fencing, Armyworms, and more.

On Wednesday evening, after the show has closed, there will be an Ag Stress and Resilience program along with a free dinner. Those who would like to attend the dinner should RSVP by Friday, November 7th at noon. No RSVP is required for the Ag Stress and Resilience Program.

“There is a real mental health crisis in the agriculture community,” said Grass & Grain editor and publisher, Donna Sullivan. “It’s critically important that we come together, talk to each other, and understand it’s okay to reach out when you need help. Even if you don’t feel a need for this yourself, there’s a good chance someone in your life might, whether it’s a family member, friend, or neighbor. We want to provide good information and tools to help someone who might be in crisis. We’re coming together as an ag family to be there for each other, so I really hope people will come and join us.”

Sullivan added that she understands producers are busy and might not be quite finished with fall harvest, but that she hopes they’ll attend the show.

“It’s a great opportunity to see quality exhibitors, attend informative workshops, and visit with your friends and neighbors as we celebrate agriculture in Kansas.”
