On Tuesday, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. joined a bipartisan group of senators in introducing a resolution to designate November 3–7 as National Veterans Small Business Week. The resolution honors the men and women who served in the U.S. Armed Forces and now contribute to their communities as small business owners.
Senator Marshall said the nation owes a lasting debt to its veterans and that the resolution is one way to recognize their impact on local communities and the state of Kansas. He thanked these hardworking individuals for helping drive America’s economy through their small businesses.
Over the past three months, Senator Marshall has visited several veteran-owned small businesses across Kansas, including Wellhead Systems in Hill City and Cox Airparts in Wichita.
