Series of Earthquakes Shake Portions of Central Kansas

Over the last two days, a series of small earthquakes shook portions of central Kansas.

One of the earthquakes, measuring at a 2.8 magnitude, struck before 6:00 pm, on Monday, three miles northeast of Wilson, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The Kansas Geological Survey also reported a 3.2 magnitude earthquake in Russell County at the same time.

Two additional earthquakes were reported in Russell County on Sunday and Monday morning; one measured at 2.6, while the other measured at 2.1.
