K-State Women’s Volleyball Tops Cincinnati in Four Sets

Kansas State women’s volleyball used strong team play to beat Cincinnati 3-1 Thursday night at Morgan Family Arena. The Wildcats won 25-22, 21-25, 25-21, 25-13.

Senior Shaylee Myers scored 21 kills and reached 1,000 career points. Senior Ava LeGrand recorded her 1,000th career assist and added 44 assists and 19 digs. Freshman Avery Stones had a breakout performance in her first collegiate start with 17 kills and nine digs.

K-State hit .222 for the match with 58 kills and recorded 72 digs, with four players reaching double figures. The team also set a program record with 13 service aces.
