Kansas State closed its 2025 cross country season Friday at the NCAA Midwest Regional, with the women placing 19th and the men finishing 21st at the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course.
Senior Grace Meyer led the K-State women in the 6k, placing 55th in 21:44.5. Juniors Vienna Lahner (88th) and Paige Baker (93rd) also finished inside the top 100. Three freshmen — Bree Allen, Payton Fink and Hanna Keltner — completed their first NCAA race, while senior Cecilia Fisher ran her final regional.
The men ran their first 10k of the year, led by sophomores Jackson Esquibel (68th, 32:27.5) and Brock Olsen (87th). Freshman Logan Beckman placed 102nd in 33:00.6, followed by senior Julian Avila and freshman Canyon Buehler.
Oklahoma State won both team titles. K-State finished the season under second-year coach Kate Bucknam with several top-25 school record performances.
