One of the world’s top touring illusionists is headed to Marshall County this holiday season. Reza, an internationally acclaimed magician whose high-energy shows have been seen by millions on television and on stages around the globe, will perform Sunday, December 14, at 3 p.m. in the Marysville High School auditorium, 1011 Walnut.
The performance is presented by the Marshall County Arts Cooperative as part of its long-standing tradition of offering a Christmas show. This year, the organization is leaning into a production the whole family can enjoy together – a fast-paced afternoon of grand illusions, comedy and audience participation.
Reza has built a career on modern stage magic. His large-scale show blends original illusions, concert-style lighting and sound and quick-paced humor designed to keep audiences of all ages engaged. He has performed hundreds of shows a year across the United States and internationally and has appeared on network television specials and series.
Board members for the arts cooperative say the show is already proving to be a popular holiday outing.
“We’re noticing grandparents are buying tickets for their grandkids,” said Sally Oliver, Marshall County Arts Cooperative board member. “Instead of one more toy under the tree, they’re giving an afternoon of big-city magic right here in their hometown. It feels like such a meaningful way to make a Christmas memory together.”
Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for children ages 4 to 18. Reserved seats are already sold out; remaining tickets are general admission. The arts cooperative is presenting Reza as part of its mission to unite the county as an arts community by promoting, inspiring and supporting the arts. Through partnerships with local schools, community members and other arts organizations, the nonprofit works to enrich the lives of people of all ages across Marshall County.
