The Clay County Health Department is excited to announce the expansion of its Vaccines for Adults (VFA) program. Not only have additional vaccines been added, but this program is now being extended beyond our local community to individuals in surrounding areas, ensuring broader access to essential adult vaccinations across the region. Adults 19 years of age and older who are uninsured or under-insured may now receive a wide range of vaccinations at a reduced cost of just $24 per vaccine.

“This expansion allows us to remove financial barriers and ensure that adults in our community can stay protected from serious diseases,” said Nikki Burwell, RN, CCHD Immunization Coordinator. “Prevention is one of the strongest tools we have in public health, and the Clay County Health Department remains committed to protecting and improving the health of all residents through immunizations, disease prevention, community outreach, and accessible public health services.”
