Kansas State landed 13 players on the Coaches’ All-Big 12 teams, led by senior center Sam Hecht on the First Team. Hecht, who started 25 straight games, also received votes for Offensive Lineman of the Year. He anchored a line that helped K-State finish among the national leaders in fewest sacks allowed and produce 678 rushing yards over its final two regular-season games.
Linebacker Austin Romaine and offensive lineman John Pastore earned Second Team honors. Romaine collected 66 tackles in nine games before an injury ended his season. Pastore started all 12 games at left tackle.
On the Third Team, receiver Jayce Brown finished with 712 receiving yards, while running back Joe Jackson led the Wildcats with 911 rushing yards, including a school-record 293 at Utah.
Eight more Wildcats received Honorable Mention recognition, including Jaron Tibbs, Garrett Oakley, and VJ Payne.
