River Valley 4-H has announced an upcoming event called the 4 Days of 4-H, where days are set aside to help 4-Hers set goals and get involved with their communities.
Join your family, club, friends in 4-H, or participate by yourself in four holiday spirit days that show the spirit of 4-H. Each day you participate, your name is entered into a drawing for a prize.
Comment with a photo on the River Valley 4-H Facebook page post, send the extension staff a picture, or stop by the office and show them your festivity.
The 4 Days of 4-H activities are:
- December 16: The Gift of Goal Setting. Set a goal for your 4-H Project that you would like to meet before Spring. Make sure to add it to your project record.
- December 17: Incorporate the Holidays Into Your Project. Make winter-themed cookies, make a holiday craft, or even make STEM snowflakes. It’s all up to you. Get creative!
- December 18: Show Your Festivity. Wear green, your 4-H shirt or 4-H Clover gear–and add some winter sparkle. Think ugly sweaters with 4-H flair, festive scarves, or fun holiday hats.
- December 19: Do a Service Project. Give back to your community. Making holiday cards for nursing homes or donating to a coat drive are some great examples and ideas.
