K-State Honors 13 Student-Athletes at Fall Commencement

Kansas State University announced that 13 current student-athletes earned their degrees during the fall semester and will take part in commencement exercises.

The group includes eight members of the K-State football team, along with one student-athlete each from baseball, volleyball, rowing, soccer and women’s track and field. All 13 graduates were recognized Friday at the athletic department’s annual graduation reception.

Kansas State continues to post strong academic results across its athletic programs. All teams are above the NCAA’s Academic Progress Rate standard, and several rank among the top programs in the Big 12 for graduation success.

The football graduates include JB Bradley, Jet Dineen, Sam Hecht, Damian Ilalio, Jacob Knuth, Isaac Koch, Sterling Lockett and Brayden Loftin. Other graduates are Cadyn Karl (baseball), Emma Johnson (rowing), Ava LeGrand (volleyball), Paige Dickson (soccer) and Brooklyn Jones (women’s track and field).

The university noted that academic achievement remains a priority across all sports.
