Kansas State head coach Collin Klein announced Monday that Buddy Wyatt will continue on the Wildcats’ staff as defensive line coach.
Wyatt has been at K-State since 2019 and has coached Wildcat defensive ends to 10 All-Big 12 honors during that span, including five first-team selections. His units have also produced three Big 12 Defensive Linemen of the Year.
Most recently, Wyatt coached Brendan Mott, who earned Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year and All-Big 12 First Team honors in 2024. Mott led the conference in sacks and helped K-State rank among the national leaders in that category.
Klein praised Wyatt for his player development and relationships within the program. Wyatt said he is grateful for the opportunity to remain at Kansas State and continue building the defensive front.
Wyatt has coached at multiple Power Conference programs and played collegiately at TCU.
