Producers and livestock enthusiasts are invited to attend an upcoming Lambing and Kidding Program focused on improving the health and management of sheep and goats during the critical lambing and kidding season.
The program will take place on Wednesday, January 22, beginning at 6:00 p.m., at the Republic County 4-H Building, Fairgrounds, (901 O Street) in Belleville. This educational evening will cover key topics essential for successful lamb and kid production, including seasonal nutrition and management for lambs and kids, deworming management strategies, and recommended vaccine protocols.
This program is designed to provide practical, research-based information that producers can apply directly to their operations. Whether you are a seasoned producer or new to raising sheep and goats, attendees will gain valuable insights to support healthy animals and productive herds.
The event is free to attend and snacks are provided; however, RSVP is required by January 19. To reserve your spot, please call the Washington Office at 785-325-2121.
Join us for an informative night of learning and preparation as we head into lambing and kidding season.
