Kansas State Adds Nick Toth as Linebackers Coach

Kansas State has hired Nick Toth as its new linebackers coach, head coach Collin Klein announced Monday. Toth brings 25 years of college coaching experience and has worked with every level of the defense.

Toth joins the Wildcats after four seasons at Air Force, where he coached safeties and helped guide one of the nation’s top defensive units. The Falcons ranked among the national leaders in total defense and pass defense during his time on staff. He also served as a defensive coordinator at several stops, including Fresno State, Ashland and Mercyhurst.

Klein said Toth adds experience and strong leadership to the coaching staff. Toth previously worked with K-State defensive coordinator Jordan Peterson at Texas A&M and Fresno State.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Toth said he and his family are excited to join the Kansas State program and get to work in Manhattan.
