Clay Center’s Mixxedfit instructors Natosha Hevelone and Anne Qualls invite anyone aged 10 and up to a ‘Dance for the Dogs’ Mixxedfit Masterclass for a good cause on Saturday, January 24th, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. in the Clay Center District Gym. Proceeds from the class will benefit CCARE to help support the shelter.

The class will feature instructors from across the area, bringing a fun fitness and dance class for all levels. Hevelone, Level II instructor, said this is part of Mixxedfit’s mission.

“Mixxedfit’s mission is to bring people together through fitness while serving our communities.”

“With that, someone approached Anne about doing the dance class to help CCARE, and I was all for it.”

“Why not get a workout in while supporting the community?”

Suggested donation for the class is $10, with all proceeds going to CCARE. Hevelone said no need to worry if you don’t know the moves.

“If you don’t know the moves, don’t worry, there are songs that I’m not going to know, and our moves are easy and repetitive.”

“It’s all for fun. If you have a New Year’s goal, why not try a new class while supporting CCARE?”

This is a great opportunity to try something new, learn about a new class, or simply get a workout in with some friends, while supporting a great cause.

More information on the class can be found on CCARE’s Facebook page.
