A DCCCA representative visited the high school to ask questions and take qualitative data during a Health Impact Focus Group. Data from around the state will help DCCCA make decisions to help youth moving forward.

Francis Witt spoke about KDAD’s PAXIS Tool for adults who work with or care for others. The tool offers resources and strategies that can be used in schools, throughout the community, or at home.

A funding request was made for the Riley County Recovery Court. This program focuses on adult recovery programs and meets with judges weekly. Grant funding is set to end in March, and they are looking for funds to get through the year. Coalition members tabled the request until the next meeting.

Due to time, all other topics were tabled for a later date.

The next Coalition meeting will be held at noon on February 11th at the Clay Center Zoo Welcome Center.
