The Republican Valley Ringnecks Pheasants Forever Chapter’s Annual Banquet is set for Saturday, January 31st at Scanolli’s in Wakefield. The Banquet will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Social Hour, followed by Dinner at 7:00, and a Live Auction at 8:00.

A catered meal will be provided by Jack’s Catering; there will also be games, raffles, and plenty of koozies to grab. Prizes include guided hunts, guns, wildlife art, and much more. Cannizzo said this year, they will have a special dove hunt package up for auction.

“We have a 4-person guided pheasant hunt that will be in the county that people can bid on in the live auction.”

“We also have a new addition, which is a dove hunt to Argentina or Uruguay that people can bid on at the live auction.”

“There will be no reserve on it, so whatever it goes for, it goes for.”

The lucky winner of the South American Dove Hunt will enjoy a 4 day/3 night hunting experience for 4 hunters. Hunters will get to choose from six world-class dove lodges.

Proceeds from this annual Banquet support the local Chapter with youth activities and wildlife conservation initiatives.

“Our youth events are completely free to our youth, and so the Banquet helps us fund those programs.”

“We also have a Habitat Program that we offer to landowners looking to improve wildlife habitat on their land.”

“The Banquet helps fund that program also.”

The Banquet is open to the public, and attendees can also choose to join the Ringnecks Chapter if they wish.  Silver level sponsorships are still available, also.

Tickets can be purchased by scanning the QR Code below or following the link on the Chapter’s Facebook event page. For sponsorship opportunities or other questions, contact Preston Cannizzo at (785) 223-1783.
