Kansas State has announced a contract extension for head volleyball coach Jason Mansfield that will keep him in Manhattan through the 2030 season, according to Athletics Director Gene Taylor.
Mansfield has led the Wildcats to steady growth in his three seasons with the program. K-State has posted three straight winning seasons and returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021. He is the fourth coach in program history to reach postseason play in each of his first three seasons.
Since being hired in December 2022, Mansfield has compiled a 44-38 overall record, including a 28-26 mark in Big 12 play. The Wildcats recorded 18 wins last season, the most under his direction, and finished 10-8 in conference action.
K-State has also seen continued success off the court, earning multiple academic honors during Mansfield’s tenure. The Wildcats are set to return seven letterwinners for the 2026 season.
