A new exhibition will be arriving soon at The Museum of Art + Light in Manhattan.
Set to arrive on May 2nd, Picasso: Art in Motion, is an immersive exploration of Pablo Picasso’s art through movement, sound, and light. Located in the museum’s 21,500 square foot Mezmereyz immersive gallery, projectors will bring his famous artwork to life in a world of color and motion.
The exhibit celebrates the creations of Picasso, who was a painter, sculptor, engraver, ceramicist, and theatre-set designer. It offers new insight into his legacy as an artist while showcasing the techniques he explored throughout his career.
21st-century technology will allow guests to step into Picasso’s mind, reimagined with projections, soundscapes, and motion-based digital environments. Some of his most iconic periods, including Blue, Rose, Cubist, Classical, and more, will be on display in the immersive landscape.
Picasso: Art in Motion, opens May 2nd, 2026, and will remain open until November 2nd, 2026. More information can be found on the museum’s website.
