In a social media post on February 11th, USD 379 welcomed Erica Bammes as the new director of the Twin Lakes Educational Cooperative for the 2026-2027 school year.
Bammes has more than two decades of experience in both regular and special education. She has been an elementary teacher, an early childhood special education teacher, and an assistant and head principal in the Natoma and Manhattan school districts. She has worked at the NCKSEC Co-Op as well.
For the last two years, Bammes has served as the Director of Special Education for the Wamego/Rock Creek/Wabaunsee Co-Op.
“I am honored and excited to serve as the new TLEC Director of Specual Education and to collaborate with staff, students, families, and district stakeholders to build upon the great work taking place in our districts,” Bammes said.
