The Clay County Community Church Camp Committee announced their seasonal fundraising campaign. Since 2014 the committee has paid for local kids to attend church camp, helping funnel paperwork and handling the fees.

In the summer of 2025, the group send more than 100 kids to church camps, which cost a total of $38,055. This year, the group anticipates fees exceeding $40,000.

Currently, they have nearly $32,500 on hand, raised in the past year. Annual fundraisers include pay-by-donation dinners, and more.

The remainder needs to be raised prior to mid-April, when church camp registrations are due. Students wishing to attend camps need to turn in applications by March 30th.

Applications are available at the Presbyterian Church office. Questions can be directed to Holly Chestnut (632-2813) or Gail Edmiston in the Methodist Church office (632-3106) or by email to: communitychurchcamp@gmail.com.
