Geary County Public Works is developing a Transportation Safety Action Plan after receiving a federal Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant.
The goal of the plan is to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries across Geary County roadways. Using recent crash data along with feedback from community members and local stakeholders, officials will identify roads and intersections most in need of safety improvements. Public participation is a key part of the process.
Residents are encouraged to visit gearycountytsap.com or access the engagement map through the county’s website to share transportation safety concerns. Feedback gathered will directly shape the county’s safety priorities and future improvements.
